Anima Mundi - Animal 

An ongoing abstract series using ink collage and paint on paper. Anima Mundi is an ancient concept meaning the vital force or soul of the world. The philosopher Plato believed that nature is the soul of all things; that life is supremely natural, and that we exist because nature exists. This is my interpretation of the ethereal, intangible spirit and a reminder that all beings and things share one essence. Artworks are of various sizes from 11inX16in - 18inX24in
